Skyward Warden
Warden of the Inner Sky is a compact defensive piece that scales into an aerial threat. The card rewards a board with multiple creatures or artifacts by letting you invest in counters and then converting those counters into flying and vigilance once there are three or more on it. As a one mana Human Soldier with a one two body it slots early and composes well with token and artifact strategies that can reliably supply the taps needed to grow it.
Its tap ability puts a counter and gives you Scry 1 at sorcery speed which makes each increment both board relevant and card selection. Use Warden of the Inner Sky to tax attacks, shore up a weak early ground, or evolve into a consistent flier in the mid game. The card reads cleanly and plays predictably, making it a useful inclusion for decks that value incremental advantage and versatile defensive threats.
