Vat of Second Chances
Mimic Vat is a compact artifact that rewrites the end of a creature's story. As an experienced player you will see it as a reusable engine for value rather than a one shot. Imprint lets you set up the Vat by exiling a nontoken creature when it dies and then use its activated ability to create a token copy for three mana and a tap. The token comes with haste and is exiled at the next end step so timing matters when you pull triggers and plan attacks.
In Commander games Mimic Vat often occupies a quiet but decisive role on the battlefield. It pairs well with sacrifice outlets and creatures that create immediate impact when they enter the battlefield. The borderless foil treatment here matches the artifact's otherworldly glow and makes it a tidy inclusion for collectors who track both playability and presentation.
