Mimic Vat Borderless
Mimic Vat is a quiet engine in artifact decks and a reliable toolbox for commanders that want to reuse value from the battlefield. Played on the board, it converts dying creatures into repeatable, single use reprints of the best things your opponents or you already cast. The imprint trigger pairs well with sacrifice synergies and mass removal since you only need to exile a nontoken creature to seed the Vat.
Once seeded you can pay three and tap to create a token copy of the exiled card that has haste and is exiled at the next end step. That interaction is pragmatic; it gives you tempo on demand while keeping the original exile as a reusable target for later. In Commander shells this card supports both value recursion and short term inevitability, and it fits naturally into artifact based combo lines or midrange lists that plan for repeated threats. A small touch of Lost Caverns flavor suggests artificers here prefer second chances to new designs.
