Altar of the Wretched
Altar of the Wretched rewards pragmatic sacrifice. When it enters the battlefield you may sacrifice a nontoken creature to convert that creature's raw power into card advantage and deck disruption. Draw X cards then mill X cards where X is the sacrificed creature's power. This slot in a black deck fits where you want repeatable value from creatures that trade themselves for momentum.
It also supports graveyard recursion. Craft with one or more creatures for {2}{B}{B} to get a scalable token related payoff and pay {2}{B} to return Altar of the Wretched from your graveyard to your hand. Use it to cash in utility creatures or to pressure opponents with steady card flow and targeted milling while keeping a recovery line from the graveyard.
