Smithy of a Thousand Moons

Thousand Moons Smithy is a compact toolkit that rewards board presence. When Thousand Moons Smithy enters the battlefield you get a white Gnome Soldier artifact creature token whose power and toughness track the number of artifacts and creatures you control. That token immediately becomes a resource for sacrifice outlets and flicker loops or simply a growing clock if you already run artifact creatures.

The Smithy also sets up a repeatable transformation trigger at the start of your precombat main phase. Tap five untapped artifacts and creatures you control and the Smithy flips, which makes it useful in decks built around artifact synergy and creature count. The extended art foil shown here emphasizes the set tone while fitting into both casual commander shells and competitive artifact lists.
