Thousand Moons Smithy is a compact engine for artifact and creature strategies. The card prints for {2}{W}{W} and enters as a Legendary Artifact that immediately sites a white Gnome Soldier artifact creature token whose power and toughness mirror the number of artifacts and creatures you control. That token scales with board state and can become a significant early board presence when you run low cost artifacts or token generators.
Beyond the token, the Smithy offers a predictable transform trigger that rewards board assembly. At the start of your precombat main phase you may tap five untapped artifacts and or creatures you control to transform Thousand Moons Smithy. The effect fits into midrange and combo shells where committing multiple permanents is part of the plan. The extended art foil here showcases the cavern forgers and makes this a practical pickup for players who want both playability and a collectible presentation.
