The Skullspore Nexus is a tool for decks that convert raw creature power into board advantage. The card reduces its own effective cost by the highest power among creatures you control, so large beaters accelerate the artifact into play. Once on the battlefield the Nexus turns dying creatures into board presence by seeding green Fungus Dinosaur tokens whose base power and toughness each equal the total power of the creatures that died that trigger it. That interaction gives a consistent value swing against sweepers and trades.

There is also a simple utility ability that doubles a creature s power for the turn at the cost of two mana and a tap. Use that effect to push damage through, to create a larger creature for sacrifice, or to inflate the next Nexus discount.
