Tajic, Legion's Edge is a compact commander of tempo and protection. The card brings Haste and Mentor together so every attacking creature can be pushed forward while Tajic stands as a stubborn bulwark. His printed ability to prevent noncombat damage to your other creatures changes combat math; you can commit to attacks that would otherwise leave your board vulnerable and still keep key mentors and attackers alive.

In Boros play patterns Tajic functions as both enabler and body. Granting first strike with a single red white activation turns his 3 2 frame into an aggressive blocker and attacker depending on the board state. For Ravnica Remastered collectors this retro frame adds a familiar aesthetic while preserving the card text that sees play in both limited and commander environments.
