Sand Scout: Desert Sentry
Sand Scout is a compact utility creature that answers land disparity while contributing steady token value. Casting Sand Scout for {1}{W} gives you a 2/2 body and a conditional tutor effect. If an opponent controls more lands than you when it enters the battlefield you may fetch a Desert and put it onto the battlefield tapped. That ability helps stabilize mana in mirror matches or when opponents run heavy landbases.
The card also offers a persistent reward when lands are lost to sacrifice effects, milling, or landfall style interactions. Each time one or more land cards move to your graveyard from anywhere you get a 1/1 red green and white Sand Warrior token. The trigger fires once per turn which makes Sand Scout useful in decks that self mill or recur lands and in thematic Desert builds. The extended art foil presentation here adds collector appeal while preserving tournament legality and near mint quality.
