Scout the Sands
Sand Scout is a compact utility creature that pays dividends in midrange and landcentric decks. For two mana you get a 2 2 body that can tutor a Desert straight to the battlefield when you are behind on lands. The enter the battlefield line reads like a catch up mechanic and it pairs cleanly with recursion and landfall synergies that like permanents entering tapped.
The secondary clause creates value from land loss. Whenever one or more land cards are put into your graveyard from anywhere you get a 1 1 red green and white Sand Warrior token once each turn. That makes the card effective in grindy games where opponents force land sacrifices or you mill yourself. The extended art on this print emphasizes the scouting theme and will sit nicely in a Commander sleeve while remaining practical for play in deck builds that want predictable token and Desert access.
