Rush of Dread from Outlaws of Thunder Junction is a compact black sorcery that taxes an opponent on three fronts. With a casting cost of {1}{B}{B} and the Spree mechanic you choose how many of the additional costs to pay. Each option scales the disruption in predictable ways so you can tune the cast to the game state whether you need to clear the board, strip resources from a hand, or finish off a weakened life total.
The foil Light Play copy shown carries subtle reflective texture that highlights the card art while remaining tournament acceptable for casual events. Players familiar with grindy black spells will appreciate the efficient math built into each mode.
