Pirate Hat is an Artifact Equipment that grants the equipped creature plus one plus one and a triggered draw then discard each time that creature attacks. The effect smooths card selection and fuels graveyard synergies while still leaving the combat step central to its value.
From a Lost Caverns perspective this card fits aggressive tempo shells and tempo oriented blue builds that prize incremental advantage. Equip Pirate costs one while the generic equip cost is two which makes it flexible to attach via small pirate creatures or to hold back and attach as a sorcery when you need precise timing. Use Pirate Hat to convert evasive attackers into repeatable cantrips and to set up looter style interactions in limited and casual constructed decks.
