Malcolm, the Siren with Options
Malcolm, Alluring Scoundrel is a compact engine in blue decks that prefers tempo and card advantage over brute force. Casting for {1}{U}, he enters with flash and flying, which lets you present an immediate threat in the air and still hold priority for countermagic or surprise blocks. When Malcolm connects in combat he accrues chorus counters while letting you filter your hand by drawing then discarding a card.
Play him early to start a slow cascade effect. After four chorus counters Malcolm turns that discard into raw value by letting you cast the discarded card without paying its mana cost. In practice he rewards incremental pressure and careful sequencing. Use bounce effects or sacrifice outlets to clear blockers and put Malcolm into position to close out games or generate a decisive swing in card quality.
