Malcolm: Quick Hands, Finer Returns
Malcolm, Alluring Scoundrel is the kind of one drop that changes sequencing and combat math. At {1}{U} he arrives with Flash and Flying which lets you ambush attackers or block air threats on the opponent turn. When Malcolm deals combat damage to a player you place a chorus counter on him and trigger a draw then discard sequence. That small tempo investment turns into a cheat engine once he has enough counters.
Count to four and Malcolm becomes a treasure chest for spells. After the fourth chorus counter you may cast the discarded card without paying its mana cost. Play Malcolm in shells that want free spells and advantage from combat resolution. He pairs well with evasive support and cards that benefit from discarded spells. This card fits into both control and tempo archetypes where you can capitalize on a single evasive attacker to generate card advantage and explosive turns.
