Illicit Masquerade: Embrace the Impostor
Illicit Masquerade from Murders at Karlov Manor gives you a practical route to recursion wrapped in subtle trickery. With flash and a cost of {3}{B}, it slips into play at instant speed and immediately places an impostor counter on each creature you control. Those counters change the stakes for trades and blocks since creatures that die with impostor counters do not go to the graveyard in the usual way.
When one of your impostor marked creatures dies it is exiled and then you may return up to one other target creature card from your graveyard to the battlefield. That lets you chain value across turns and sculpt your board using sacrifice outlets or combat trades. The card plays well in aristocrat shells and any deck that benefits from instant speed interaction or steady creature recursion.
