Cavern Swoop
Deep-Cavern Bat is a compact tool for decks that value tempo and incremental gain. The card combines flying and lifelink on a 1 1 body so it chips in life while forcing through damage from the air. When it enters the battlefield you get information and a targeted exile effect against an opponent's hand that can remove a key nonland card until the bat is gone. That interaction makes the creature useful both as a self sustaining attacker and a soft disruption piece in skirmishes around the board.
In Lost Caverns of Ixalan lore the bats scout and hold ground in the dark fissures so their presence fits control plans that want to trade value over time. Play it early to stabilize life totals or later as a tempo play that answers specific threats without committing to long term removal. It pairs cleanly with blink, sacrifice and recursion lines because the exile is tied to the creature leaving the battlefield which opens up smart sequencing and synergies familiar to experienced pilots.
