Coat of Arms — Legion Standard for Tribal Decks
Coat of Arms rewards a deck that trusts its tribe. At five mana this artifact offers a persistent anthem effect that scales with board composition. Each creature continuously receives +1/+1 for every other creature on the battlefield that shares a creature type with it. In practice this means a single tribal enabler can turn an even board into a lethal threat and a wide board into a wall of boosted attackers.
Play this in Commander when you expect creatures to stick around and when you can reliably field multiple creatures of the same type. It pairs especially well with token generators and creatures that populate or copy creature types. A small touch of Ixalan lore is visible in the artwork where a ceremonial shield sits among relics and carved stone faces hinting at family lines and heraldry made manifest in combat.
