Cindervines is a concise answer to slow, spell heavy decks. Cindervines rewards pressure and timing by punishing opponents for each noncreature spell they cast; the incremental one point of damage feels small until it is not. The card also converts into a removal spell when the board demands it, sacrificing itself to take out a problematic artifact or enchantment while dealing additional damage to that permanent's controller.
