Vanish the Evidence
Unexplained Absence gives you a surgical way to erase problematic board pieces while still playing with the top of opponents libraries. As an Instant that costs {3}{W}, Unexplained Absence exiles up to one nonland permanent per player. Each permanent removed this way triggers a cloak effect for that permanent controller, placing the top card of their library onto the battlefield face down as a 2/2 creature with ward 2 and leaving the option to turn it face up later if it is a creature and they can pay its mana cost.
The card slots neatly into decks that prize interaction without committing to permanent tempo swings. Use it to clear a blocker, strip an aura, or reset a threat before combat. In a Karlov Manor environment where bodies and secrets stack up, Unexplained Absence is a tidy answer that also nudges card advantage patterns and creates interesting decisions for opponents about what they will risk cloaking into play.
