Ixalan Puzzle Core
The Enigma Jewel is a compact engine for blue decks that want optional ramp into activated ability synergies. The Enigma Jewel enters the battlefield tapped and can tap for two colorless craft mana that is restricted to activating abilities. That limitation makes the Jewel less about casting spells and more about enabling creatures and artifacts that carry useful tap costs. In practice the Jewel smooths turns where you need extra activation fuel to keep value engines online without changing your main mana base.
Crafting the card into its larger form requires assembling four or more nonland permanents or graveyard targets that have activated abilities then paying a substantial cost and exiling the Jewel. The transformed result reads like a toolbox payoff for decks built around activated effects and recurring interactions. The Enigma Jewel works well in control shells that rely on repeatable abilities and in artifact focused lists looking for a late game upgrade path.
