Rumbleweed lands with the kind of quiet inevitability that wins long games. This green leviathan rewards a graveyard full of lands by reducing its high converted mana cost and then immediately reshaping combat. With vigilance, reach and trample it stands in front of flyers while still threatening to smash blockers. When it enters the battlefield other creatures you control get +3/+3 and gain trample until end of turn which turns a defensive board into a lethal one turn finish or a safe wide swing.
Use Rumbleweed in ramp builds that can reliably fill the graveyard with lands or reanimate it once it is cheap enough to cast. The card scales with game length and board state. In Commander it is a finishers tool more than an early play. Play it after a few land drops or a mill effect and you will leave opponents with tricky blocks and painful life totals to manage.
