Revival / Revenge: Dual Purpose Play
Revival / Revenge combines a pragmatic toolbox answer and a late game finisher in one card. Revival returns a creature card with mana value 4 or less from your graveyard to the battlefield which makes it a reliable recursion piece for value engines and toolbox builds. Revenge doubles your life total while forcing an opponent to lose half their life rounded up which often swings life math in your favor and buys time for your strategy to resolve.
As a Ravnica era split card it rewards timing and sequencing. Cast the left half to rebuild board presence after a trade or a sweep while reserving the right half as a life swing that pressures opponents who relied on narrow damage counts. Revival / Revenge works well in decks that leverage graveyard interactions and life manipulation and is a straightforward inclusion for players who prefer tidy lines and predictable outcomes over flashy randomness.
