Collapse the Line
Molten Collapse is a tidy removal piece that reads clearly and resolves cleanly. As a sorcery it asks you to pick one effect and finish it. You can take out a creature or a planeswalker outright, or you can remove a tiny, annoying artifact or enchantment with mana value one or less. The borderless Lost Caverns frame and foil finish make this copy stand out in collection shots and at the table while preserving the exact printed text you need to judge plays quickly.
The twist is the descent clause which rewards aggressive sequencing. If you descended this turn you may choose both effects instead, giving you flexible answers when you commit to the cave. Molten Collapse fits well in midrange decks that need a compact sweep against low cost permanents and single threats, and it plays nicely with sacrifice lines and deck builds that push creature attacks through to trigger descent.
