Loan Shark — Quiet Collector of Advantage
Loan Shark is a compact tempo piece for blue decks that rewards casting spells in a single turn. At {3}{U} for a 3/4 Shark Rogue, it gives you a sturdy body while offering a conditional card advantage. If you have already cast two or more spells that turn when Loan Shark enters the battlefield, you draw a card. That trigger fits well in spell heavy turns where you push through tempo and still keep a meaningful blocker.
The card carries the Plot mechanic as printed on the Outlaws of Thunder Junction release. From hand you can pay 3{U} and exile Loan Shark to plot it and later cast it as a free sorcery on a subsequent turn. This makes it useful in decks that plan ahead, setting up a later swing of value without needing to spend mana at the moment of resolution. The light play foil finish shown here is a good pick for play or trade, blending functional playability with a subtle foil sheen.
