Ingenious Wingcraft
Leonardo da Vinci brings a toolbox of tempo and value to artifact based blue decks. Leonardo da Vinci gives you a late game finisher by turning your Thopters into board threats equal to the size of your hand with an activated ability that sets their base power and toughness to X slash X where X equals the number of cards in your hand. The second activated ability converts card selection into permanent board presence when you discard artifacts and then convert them into 0 slash 2 Thopter artifact creature tokens with flying.
From a gameplay perspective Leonardo da Vinci rewards hand management and artifact density. Use the draw and discard loop to sculpt your graveyard and then convert key artifacts into evasive blockers or chump attackers that matter in the air. The card reads like it was designed for tempo focused Commander and Standard style artifact builds and carries a small touch of Assassin's Creed lore by presenting da Vinci as an artificer who turns invention into battlefield advantage.
