Gadget Technician: Tinker and Take Flight
Gadget Technician fits into any blue red artifact shell where tempo and incremental advantage matter. The card's enter the battlefield trigger creates a 1 1 Thopter with flying which converts a single casting into both a board presence and an evasive threat. Play it into open air to pressure planeswalkers or trade up in combat while you set up your bigger artifact synergies.
The disguise ability gives flexibility in the early turns and hides intentions from opponents. Cast it face down as a 2 2 with ward 2 to buy time, then flip it for value when you can make use of the Thopter or need an immediate aerial blocker. In foil and light play condition this copy shows the set art and texture collectors look for while remaining a playable common for constructed and casual lists.
