Use the Gadgeteer early to build card advantage while leaving room for tempo plays later in the game.
Beyond Clues, the Gadgeteer reduces the activation cost of your artifact abilities by one, which changes how you evaluate tap abilities and mana rocks. That reduction cannot drop an activation below one mana, so plan sequencing accordingly. In the setting of Murders at Karlov Manor this Vedalken artificer works best when paired with cheap artifacts and repeatable sacrifice triggers, turning small plays into steady advantage.
