Experiment Twelve: Silent Growth
Experiment Twelve is a compact green threat that scales with board development. It enters as a 4 4 with trample and rewards strategic use of face down plays. Whenever Experiment Twelve or another creature you control is turned face up, that creature gains a number of +1/+1 counters equal to its power. In practice this makes each reveal a pivot point. Use it with creatures that gain power from counters or equipment to turn a single flip into a sweeping upgrade.
The disguise ability gives a low cost avenue to flood the board with hidden attackers and to hide your intentions from opponents. Cast it face down as a 2 2 with ward 2 then flip it for four and green to trigger growth triggers. It fits well in decks that lean on covert value and incremental combat advantage. Expect steady board state shifts rather than a single finisher and plan your reveals around combat steps and protection windows.
