Emperor of Bones: Grave Reanimation
Emperor of Bones slots neatly into graveyard oriented plans. For {1}{B}, its first ability lets you exile a card from a graveyard at the start of combat, setting up a quick reanimation engine. With Adapt 2, you can grow the creature and threaten larger presence on the next turns. The Near Mint Foil treatment adds a cold gleam that complements MH3’s grim mood and practical design.
When one or more +1/+1 counters are placed on Emperor of Bones, you may put a creature card exiled with Emperor of Bones onto the battlefield under your control with a +1/+1 counter on it. It gains haste and is sacrificed at the beginning of the next end step. This creates a deliberate, tempo driven line that rewards precise timing and graveyard awareness, a hallmark of Modern Horizons 3’s graveyard oriented toolkit.
