Whispers on the Wind
Dust Animus is a compact white flyer that rewards a patient landbase. At a casting cost of {1}{W} you get a 2/3 Spirit with flying by default. If your board can present five or more untapped lands when it arrives, Dust Animus enters the battlefield with two +1/+1 counters and a lifelink counter on it which immediately changes how it trades and how your life total swings.
Its Plot ability gives a toolbox option for slower turns when you need to guarantee a mid game impact. Use it in tempo builds that can untap lands reliably or in lifegain shells that want a resilient flier that scales into a larger threat. The art and name fit Outlaws of Thunder Junction by suggesting a storm of sand and spirit that buffs an army while staying evasive in the sky.
