Dusk Rose Reliquary is an artifact that asks for a price up front and rewards careful timing. The card forces you to sacrifice an artifact or creature as an additional cost to cast it, which makes it a natural fit in decks that can generate value from sacrifice triggers or that recur pieces from the graveyard. Once it resolves you get a clean, temporary removal effect that exiles an opponent artifact or creature until the Reliquary leaves the battlefield.

Play it where leaving it on board matters. The Ward 2 clause punishes reactive counters and buys a window for the exile to stick. In Limited it reads as a tempo tool that trades a small piece to neutralize a larger threat. In Constructed shell builds it can pair with flicker, recursion, or token synergies to convert the initial sacrifice into continuous advantage while denying an opponent a critical permanent.
