Call of the Caverns

Distant Melody is a tidy draw spell that rewards tribal commitment. At sorcery speed you name a creature type and draw one card for every permanent you control that matches that type. The effect scales well in multiplayer Commander where token generators and anthem effects turn each matching permanent into incremental card advantage.

Use this in decks that already lean into a single tribe to convert board presence into raw cards. It pairs cleanly with repeating token producers and noncreature permanents that carry a creature type, so it can refill a hand after a board wipe or push a midgame lead into a decisive advantage. The printed wording is straightforward and leaves no ambiguity during sequencing.
