Echoes of a Chosen Tribe

Distant Melody rewards careful tribal planning. For four mana you name a creature type and then draw a card for each permanent you control of that type. That includes creatures, artifacts that happen to be that type and any tribal permanents on the battlefield. Play it when your board already reflects your chosen tribe and you will convert board presence into immediate card advantage.

In lore terms the spell acts like a summons from far away. The imagery and wording suit decks that lean into identification and precision rather than raw power. Use it to refill your hand after a clear or to snowball a strategy that already populates the battlefield with a single creature type. Timing matters. Casting on an empty board will still cast a vote but the return is minimal.
