Cosmium Confluence gives you three selectable modes so you can tailor a single cast to the board state. Play it when you need ramp and a body, a ready land to drop, or a way to answer a troublesome aura or other enchantment.

In practice Cosmium Confluence pairs well with decks that care about Cave cards and land-based synergy. Choose to tutor a Cave when you need a specific land, to put counters on a Cave that becomes a haste creature when you need offense, or to destroy an enchantment when removal is required. The extended art foil shown here emphasizes the set theme and makes the card an attractive inclusion for both play and collection.
