Council of Consequence
Coercive Portal is a compact political engine you can drop into any multiplayer Commander list that values game ending swings. The artifact forces a Will of the council vote at the beginning of your upkeep, pitting carnage against homage. If carnage prevails you sacrifice Coercive Portal and clear the board of nonland permanents. If homage wins or the vote is tied you draw a card. The effect is simple but brutal and reads like a timed reset that also hands you information about opponents intentions.
Use Coercive Portal as leverage. Cast it when the table has clear targets or when you can steer votes toward a draw and a card. It doubles as a deterrent to wide board states and a means to force unfavorable trades between opponents. In a control shell it buys reach. In a politics heavy deck it becomes a bargaining chip. The borderless art frames the portal as a ritual focus and matches the set mood without altering how it plays at the table.
