For {2}{B} you get a 3 2 Vampire Rogue that immediately turns one of your creatures into a suspected culprit. Suspected creatures gain menace and lose the ability to block, which changes combat math in subtle ways and forces opponents to reassess blockers and removal timing.
The card also rewards attacking with suspected creatures by triggering surveil 1 each time one or more of them attack. That incremental card filtering compounds over a game and pairs well with graveyard synergies in Murders at Karlov Manor.
