Caustic Bronco Rides Out
Caustic Bronco is a compact threat that pulls double duty as a card engine and a political lever. At {1}{B} for a 2/2 Creature — Snake Horse Mount, it taxes your life when it draws for you unless you saddle it. The attack trigger lets you reveal the top card of your library and draw it which smooths your turns. If you have not saddled the Mount the life payment comes from you. If you pay the cost to saddle it first then each opponent takes that loss instead.
Use Caustic Bronco where incremental advantage matters. It fits well in midrange shells that can assemble the Saddle 3 requirement by tapping smaller attackers or token armies. The card rewards careful timing and sequencing rather than brute force. In the set lore the bronco represents the hazardous mounts of Thunder Junction outlaws who turn every draw into a gamble on who will pay the price.
