Case of the Filched Falcon — Clues and Contraption Craft
Case of the Filched Falcon is a compact investigative piece for blue decks that like to convert artifacts into answers. When it arrives on the battlefield it immediately grants a Clue so you can dig for interaction. The card rewards artifact density; if you meet the solve requirement you gain a repeatable payoff that turns a utility artifact into a flying threat. This plays cleanly in decks that already run token artifacts, mana rocks, or recurring equipment.
From a gameplay perspective it excels as a tempo pivot. Early Clue generation smooths card draw while you assemble three or more artifacts. Once solved the activated ability trades the Case for a four counter buff and a creature type change which can enable combat tricks or synergies with sacrifice outlets and blink effects. The design fits Murders at Karlov Manor by blending investigation with mechanical payoff in a compact uncommon package.
