Break Out the Surprise
Break Out is a tight tool for midrange and aggressive decks in Murders at Karlov Manor that trades predictability for tempo. Cast Break Out and look at the top six cards of your library to reveal a creature card. If the creature has mana value 2 or less you may put it onto the battlefield and it gains haste until end of turn. If you do not put it directly onto the battlefield you still get the card in hand so nothing goes permanently lost.
From a gameplay perspective Break Out rewards deckbuilding discipline and sequencing. It skews toward low cost creatures and gives a clean way to convert a card selection into immediate damage or board presence. Use it as a follow up to a tutor effect or as a way to refill after a sweep. The card reads and plays simply but opens room for smart timing and library manipulation in a Karlov Manor match.
