Airtight Alibi gives you a clean, tactical way to untangle a targeted creature and push through combat in Murders at Karlov Manor. The aura casts with flash so you can respond at instant speed, untap the creature on entry and provide hexproof for the turn. That sequence lets a tapped attacker become a surprise blocker or lets a blocker untap and survive a removal window long enough to trade or land damage.
Beyond the immediate timing play, Airtight Alibi makes a durable stat investment by granting the enchanted creature plus two plus two while also preventing it from becoming suspected. In deck construction, it pairs well with creatures that benefit from being untapped or that have enter the battlefield triggers.
