Bat God of the Hidden Caverns
Aclazotz, Deepest Betrayal is a compact engine in black decks that wants to attack and tax resources. The card reads with flying and lifelink which makes it a reliable aerial threat and a steady life swing when it connects. Its attack trigger forces each opponent to discard a card and rewards you for opponents who cannot by letting you draw, which turns aggression into card advantage in multiplayer or grindy matchups.
Beyond its attack tax the card punishes greedy mana bases. When an opponent discards a land you get a 1 1 flying Bat token, so opponents trying to hold spells can slowly lose tempo. The death clause returns Aclazotz to the battlefield tapped and transformed under your control which gives it recursion value and makes removal a temporary setback. This card pairs well with discard synergies and board refill effects in a control oriented or aristocrat style deck.
