Wispdrinker Vampire — Quiet Drain from Above
Wispdrinker Vampire is a compact midrange threat that rewards a steady stream of small attackers. A Vampire Rogue with flying, it pressures opponents in the air while turning your low power creatures into incremental card advantage through life loss for your foes and life gain for you. Its printed triggered ability pairs well with token generators and sacrifice synergies that create creatures with power two or less.
The activated ability is a late game pivot. For five, a white and a black mana you can grant deathtouch and lifelink to your smaller creatures, turning chump blockers into lethal trades and stabilizing swings that close out games. This card sits comfortably in decks that mix aggression and attrition and it reads as both a defensive flyer and a utility engine in Karlov Manor style builds.
