Welcoming Vampire — Card Draw for the Devoted
Welcoming Vampire rewards decks that swarm the board with small creatures. Castable for {2}{W}, this flying Vampire converts incremental board development into card advantage. Its triggered ability reads cleanly in Commander games where tokens and low power creatures show up often. The card works well in lifegain shells and aristocrat builds that still value steady card flow.
The wording matters. Whenever one or more other creatures with power 2 or less enter the battlefield under your control you draw a card and this can trigger once each turn. In practice this means a single token wave or a creature drop that happens alongside another play gives you one reliable draw. Use this Vampire as a plug to smooth your mid game and keep options open while you set up larger plays.
