Temporal Exit for Tough Creatures

Voyager Staff is a compact artifact that gives you a tidy answer to a problematic blocker or a tempo advantage against an aggressive board. The staff costs one to cast and trades two and itself to exile a creature, then returns that creature at the beginning of the next end step. Use it to reset a creature with an enter the battlefield ability or to buy a turn when an opponent overcommits to combat.

The design fits Ravnica play patterns where timing and guild tactics matter. Voyager Staff works well in decks that can recoup value from creatures that blink or that benefit from temporary removal. Played from hand or set aside for a late game trick the card rewards sequencing and reads of the board more than raw mana investment.
