Underground Mortuary is a compact utility land that slides into black green decks where card selection and late game depth matter. It enters tapped so you plan turns ahead. Once it resolves you get a surveil 1 trigger, letting you inspect the top card of your library and choose to send it to the graveyard for graveyard synergies or leave it for future draw. It produces either black or green mana so it supports both removal and creature lines without adding unnecessary fragility to your mana base.
Played with intent this card smooths draws and fuels dredge style interactions while fitting the Murders at Karlov Manor theme of secrets and slow reveals. It pairs cleanly with sacrifice engines and flashback threats.
