Transcendent Dragon
Transcendent Dragon is a compact engine in blue that rewards well timed play. The card lets you cast a five mana flash threat and immediately interact with the stack by targeting a spell to be countered. If that spell is countered by the Dragon, it is exiled instead of going to the graveyard and you may cast it for free which turns disruption into card advantage and gives you a route to reuse powerful instants or sorceries from opponents or from your own deck.
In Commander builds this creature offers both tempo and late game reach. With flying and flash it dodges many blockers and arrives as a surprise answer while the ability to recast an exiled spell creates tricky decision points around removal and counterplay. The Transcendent Dragon fits into control shells and storm complements alike and its synergy with graveyard hate and exile interactions is worth testing in any blue deck that values spell recursion.
