Thunderclap Drake — Skyline Gambit

Thunderclap Drake is a compact engine for spell‑centric blue decks that want to turn commander recasts into explosive value. At {1}{U} with flying and a 2/1 body it slips over ground blockers and reduces the cost of your instants and sorceries by {1}, smoothing early plays and enabling richer turns without bloating your curve. The sacrifice ability converts those commander recasts into literal copies of a key spell, scaling directly with how many times you have cast your commander from the command zone this game.

Practically, use the Drake as a tempo piece and a setup tool. It is best paired with a commander you expect to cast multiple times or with cheap repeatable commanders, since each recast increases the number of copies you create. The card fits the Outlaws of Thunder Junction tone by rewarding calculated risk and timing rather than sheer card advantage. Light Play Normal English condition; card is ready for play and commander table use.
