The artifact creature Threefold Thunderhulk enters the battlefield with three +1/+1 counters on it which immediately makes it a relevant attacker. When it enters or attacks you get a number of 1/1 colorless Gnome artifact creature tokens equal to its current power so the counters matter for both offense and token generation.

Its sacrifice outlet costs two and requires another artifact which trades board resources for incremental growth by putting a +1/+1 counter on Threefold Thunderhulk. That interaction pairs well with token engines and cheap artifacts common to Lost Caverns of Ixalan builds. Use it as a finisher that buffs itself while producing blockers or value pieces to chip away at opposing boards.
