Skyjack the Vaults
Thieving Skydiver is a compact tempo play that doubles as targeted artifact acquisition. For one and a blue you get a flier with a kicker option that scales the card theft. Cast it for value by investing additional mana into X and you will either snag a low cost trinket or pull a key piece straight off an opponent's board. The flying body is evasive enough to pressure life totals while you set up a hardware theft plan.
In Commander the card reads as a precise toolbox tool rather than a bomb. Use the kicker to match the mana value you need and the enter the battlefield trigger either repositions equipment onto your Skydiver or transfers utility artifacts into your control. It fits cleanly into artifact-centric builds and blue roguish decks that trade board interaction for surgical asset removal. A small nod to the set's frontier tone: the merfolk leans into quick grabs from high places and leaves with what it needs.
