Temple Garden Returns

Temple Garden (Retro Frame) is a staple in two color aggro and midrange lists that need reliable green white fixing. The retro frame art shows a vaulted sanctuary where vines reclaim marble and light filters through clerestory windows. As a land that reads Land — Forest Plains, it gives you both a Forest and a Plains for deck building while keeping the familiar risk and reward of its enter the battlefield clause.

In play the card is straightforward and efficient. As Temple Garden enters the battlefield you may pay 2 life. If you do not pay you get it tapped. That simple decision shapes early turns and sequencing. Use it to hit early two color plays, accelerate mana hungry spells or enable weekend Commander lines. This Near Mint retro frame printing from Ravnica Remastered pairs classic rules text with a version collectors appreciate.
